be sure of a big surprise. Spring has arrived and the bluebells are in full bloom carpeting the woods in a beautiful blue hue. Here are a few pics from a recent visit to some woods near Wimborne, Dorset
Well here is my final offering of the year. The challenge this time was to go out on the street and capture images of people without being spotted. Easy you say! Well to make it a challenge I decided to attach the 16-55mm 2.8 fuji lens to my XT2 which meant I would have to get close and personal. Although it looks in some of the images like I have been spotted I can assure you I was not. In fact I was not challenged at any time. Enjoy…..
Whilst in Salisbury earlier this week I had a couple of hours to fill. What to do? Well, first priority was for a snack and a drink then refreshed and armed with my Fuji XT2 and 50-140 f2.8 zoom I set myself a 60 minute challenge to see what pictures I could take. Well here are a few of those pictures…. Hope you like them!
The illuminated carnival season is upon us once more and they are a spectacle not to be missed. The huge floats accompanied by marching bands, dancers, and stunningly turned out individuals, wend their way slowly through the towns. The blaze of colourful lights, music, dancing and the carnival atmosphere combine to create a unique and exciting experience for all ages. The processions are free to watch and all the participants are raising money for Charity. Here are a few of my images from the Wincanton and Castle Cary/Ansford processions which took place on the nights of 13 and 14 October 2017
